TAMAOKI Yasuo (born 1941) continues to create a unique world of “Ima-Oribe” (Contemporary Oribe), bringing the extraordinary spirit of Oribe style, as seen in Mino ware in Momoyama period, into the present day. The exhibition showcases recent works in the Shino and Oribe styles that he has pursued since his earlier days, offering an insight into Tamaoki’s relentless pursuit of innovation and his unique artistic vision.
