Since its opening, the Museum of Modern Ceramic Art, Gifu has collected modern and contemporary practical ceramic ware connected to the lineage of modern design. This exhibition focuses on the approximately 100-year-period from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century within the museum’s collection of European ceramic, primarily tea and coffee ware, as well as interior decorative items.
